FROM pinterest photos TO FINISHED BASEMENT

When we decided to do a little finish work in our basement, our friends told us about Bo’s amazing handyman talents. They raved about how much money he had saved them without the middleman of a contractor overseeing subcontractors.

Initially our plans were very modest and simple. We would add some lighting and sheetrock to define our living space. Down the road, we planned to add a few built-ins and lay the flooring.

Bo told us he could relocate HVAC lines, move plumbing lines, install electrical outlets, design lighting, weld pipes, move walls, frame, add insulation, install sheetrock, make craftsman style molding, repurpose our leftover cabinetry for built-ins, level concrete floors, lay flooring and add beadboard ceilings.

Was there anything this man couldn’t do? Actually there was only one thing Bo said was totally out of his league and that was basement design. On the positive side, he said he could build anything from plans or a picture. Our basement had been roughed in so we had the plans for rooms. We only needed minor modifications.

With Pinterest, Houzz and Google, inspiration is just clicks away.  The beautiful pictures helped us visualize our dream finished basement.

To help others, we have provided a slideshow below showing how we developed our basement plans from internet pictures.  We loved the process.

Bo was a blessing to us every day he worked on our basement.  Our basement is already filled with the wonderful memories of the times we shared with Bo collaborating on ideas and bringing our vision to life.

If someone reading this testimony has set up Pinterest boards for their remodel, Bo is the man to make your dreams come true. We highly recommend Bo with Restored Dwellings.
